In the third season, NCIS troops welcomed the assistant Mossad Ziva David (Cote de Pablo), who replacedKate in the team, and the NCIS team received a new director, Jenny Shepard (Lauren Holly). After Holly’s departure at the end of the fifth season, NCIS director’s position was taken by Leon Vance (Rocky Carroll).
